Eligibility & Compliance

Body armor is legal to own and possess in 49 U.S. states for civilians who meet federal eligibility criteria. Gilliam Arms sells body armor only to U.S. residents who meet all of the following: Are 18 years of age or older; Are not prohibited from possessing body armor under 18 U.S.C. § 931 or applicable state law; Are legally permitted to possess body armor in their state of residence; Are purchasing on their own behalf for lawful purposes; Agree to our Terms of Service. We do not ship to Connecticut. New York shipments are accepted only when fully compliant with New York state law. Export controls. Hard armor rifle plates rated RF1, RF2, or RF3 are subject to the U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and may be subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Export, re-export, or transfer of RF1, RF2, or RF3 hard armor outside the United States without proper U.S. Government authorization is prohibited and may constitute a federal crime. Gilliam Arms ships RF1, RF2, and RF3 hard armor only within the United States. Buyer attestation. All purchases require the buyer to confirm eligibility at checkout.
