How to Wear the GARMS 2 PLUS

The GARMS 2 PLUS is an ICW (In Conjunction With) plate — it must always be worn over HG2 (Level IIIA) soft armor to perform as rated. There are two ways to run it:

• In a tactical plate carrier — Insert the GARMS 2 PLUS into your plate carrier's hard plate pocket with a separate HG2 soft armor backer panel behind it (between the plate and your body).
• Over a soft armor vest — Slide the plate into the external plate pocket of an HG2-rated bullet resistant vest, worn directly over the vest.

Either way, the HG2 soft armor layer is required. Pair it with our custom-cut soft armor panels, built to HG2 spec in North Carolina with ultrasonically sealed, UV and water resistant edges:
