The Model 1635 is Gilliam Arms' flagship RF3 hard armor plate — built to defeat the most demanding rifle threats recognized under NIJ Standard-0101.07, including M2 AP armor-piercing ammunition.
Colonial Heritage
The "1635" plate commemorates the arrival of John Gillam and Thomas Gillam aboard the ship George in 1635, from Gravesend, England. This date marks the beginning of nearly four centuries of documented American heritage for the Gilliam family in colonial Virginia.
